A passport with at least six
month validity is required. A visa is required for most nationalities.
(Philippine and Malaysian nationals do not require tourist visas for a
stay up to 21 and 30 days respectively.) No special permits are required.
One-month visas are available on arrival at the international airports in
Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, and at border crossings with Thailand and
Vietnam. Visas are not available at the crossing with Laos. Tourist visa:
US$20. Business visa: US$25. Diplomatic, Official, Courtesy, and Special
(Cambodian) visas are issued free of charge. One 4x6 photo is required.
Visa prices are often higher at Thai overland crossings.
Tourist visas can be extended for one month, but only one time. Business
visas can be renewed indefinitely. Renew visas through a travel agent or
the 'Department for Foreigners’ on Confederation de Russie (‘Airport
Road’), located opposite Phnom Penh International Airport. Renew
Diplomatic, Courtesy and Official visas at the Consular section of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Visas at Overland Border Crossings
Border crossing with Laos: This is a semi-official crossing. Border
policies are not stable. Neither Cambodian nor Laotian visas are available
at the border.
Border crossings with Vietnam: Cambodian visas are available at the
border. Vietnamese visas are not available at the border.
Border crossings with Thailand: Cambodian visas and 30-day Thai
transit visas are available at all Thai/Cambodian border crossings. Thai
transit visas are free of charge. Other types of Thai visas are not
available. At the Poipet and Koh Kong crossings, Cambodian immigration is
charging 1000 baht for a tourist visa and 1500 baht for a business visa.
Unlike the rest of the country, they usually refuse dollars. At current
exchange rates, the price in baht is significantly more expensive than the
official prices of $20 and $25. Some people have had some success paying
the official price in dollars by being politely insistent.
For
most visitors to Vietnam, visa is advised to obtain at Vietnamese Embassy
or Consulate overseas. Some Embassy & Consulate required the copy of
visa approval which is processed by your Vietnam travel agent and some are
not required processing in advance. Visa on arrival also available but the
visa on arrival must be approved in advanced. Visitor is advisable to
contact travel for visa help. Visa fee is 25 USD – 30 USD.
There
are two kinds of Entry Visas for Tourists (E.V.T).
(1)
E.V.T - (F.I.T) : This visa can be obtained at every Myanmar embassy or
consulate by submitting passport and (3) photos, you can apply Package
Visa at the nearest Myanmar Embassy or consulate. Visa fee is the
equivalent of USD 20
(2) E.V.T - (Package) : We will send you our Package Tour Confirmation
Letter. With this letter plus passport and (3) photos, you can apply
Package Visa at the nearest Myanmar Embassy or consulate. Visa fee is the
equivalent of USD 20Both
kind of visa allow the stay of 28 days in Myanmar.
Visa on arrival We
can arrange Visa on arrival. We need your passport no, dates of birth,
occupation, father's name, home address and nationality ( pls fax us your
passport copy ) 10 working days prior to your arrival. So we can get
permission from Tourism Regulation Department and then submit to
Immigration Department.
After Visa is approved, we will inform your international flight to let
you check in without Visa in your passport. So it is important for us to
know your international flight number and your booking reference.( PNR )
Pls make sure you have ( 3 ) photos on arrival. There is no photo shop at
the airport.
Visa fees is USD 20.00 per person and service fees is USD 15 per person.
For
most visitors to Laos PRD, visas are obtainable upon arrival at both
Vientiane and Luang Prabang International Airports. At land crossing
checkpoints with Thailand, Vietnam & Cambodia, visitors will need to
have already obtained their visas prior to their arrival through a Laos
Embassy or Consulate overseas.
Visa
fee is US$ 30 cash. Visa application form is available upon arrival at the
airport and 01 passport size photo is required.
Visas are required for the citizens of all countries except Thailand. However, you can obtain a visa on arrival at Vientiane and Luang Prabang international airports, as well as at the Friendship Bridge from Nong Khai in Thailand. It is generally cheaper to obtain the visa on arrival than to obtain it at a Lao embassy abroad.
To get your visa on arrival, you'll need a passport size photo of yourself and US$ 30 cash. Visas are generally good for 30 days.
