Established in 1990, Mittapheap Company Limited is proud to be one of the pioneers of modern tourism in Cambodia. Founded by managing directors, Mr. Hun Sothy and Mr. Hun Chantha, the company began as a humble 28-room hotel catered to locals and the United Nations peace-keeping forces that were stationed in Phnom Penh at that time. Having overcome politically uncertain times in the country, Mittapheap Company Limited has grown from strength to strength and has emerged as a leader in Cambodia’s tourist industry as well as a familiar name around the world.

More Than a Decade of Experience

Mittapheap Company Limited has come a long way since its early days as a hotel. Through the years, to accommodate the influx of tourists arriving in Cambodia to visit the Angkor Complex, the company worked towards becoming a full-fledged tour operator and began providing professional hotel reservation services, worldwide ticketing services and business and sightseeing tour packages.

Headquartered in Phnom Penh, the business today has expanded to include a branch office in Siem Reap. And as Cambodia is being rediscovered, the company provides an ever-increasing variety of sightseeing tour packages around Siem Reap’s ancient ruins, the city of Phnom Penh and the beaches of Sihanoukville.

A One-Stop Travel Service

Plans for Mittapheap Company Limited to become a one-stop travel service centre in Cambodia are already underway. The once small Mittapheap Hotel in Phnom Penh now boasts 78-rooms and its services include: a local restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a coffee bar, a snooker club, a foot reflexology club, a tour desk and a photo shop, all in the same building. There are also plans to construct another hotel in Siem Reap as well as branch offices in the provinces of Sihanoukville and Ratanakiri that will allow Mittapheap Company Limited to deliver more personalised service to its clients.
