Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival and Rolous Group and Small Circuit Arrive in the morning – meet with guide for transfer to hotel. The same morning tour to Rolous Group including Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei. Afternoon tour to Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan (Cardamon sanctuary), Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang (Royal Bath), Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple), Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. Overnight Siem Reap.
Day 2: South Gate of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat Morning, tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Afternoon visit the World Seventh Wonder of Angkor Wat and view sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill. Overnight Siem Reap. {B}
Day 3: Banteay Srei and Grand Circuit Morning visit to Banteay Srei (Citadel of the women) and Banteay Samre. Afternoon visit Grand Circuit including Pre Rup (Change the body), East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan and Baksei Chamkrong. Overnight Siem Reap. {B}
Day 4: War Museum and floating village Morning visit War Museum and Les Artisans d’Angkor - Chantiers Ecole where visitors can observe students learning traditional carving and finishing techniques and visit Siem Reap Market. Afternoon tour to floating village and boat trip on Tonle Sap Great Lake. Overnight Siem Reap. {B}
Day 5: Kulen mountain and waterfall Morning full day tour to Holy mountain of Phnom Kulen visit Liga carving, a legacy of the God-kings who ruled Cambodia in the ninth century, One of the eight water sources, Sleeping Buddha, and the Waterfall of Phnom Kulen. Return back to Siem Reap. Overnight Siem Reap. {B}
Day 6: Khmer Empire Koh Ker and Beng Melea Morning excursion with tour guide to visit Koh Ker temple, the remote 10th century capital of Khmer Empire for a very brief period from the year 928 to 944 AD, located in Preah Vihea province. Left to the jungle for nearly a millennium and mostly un-restored; this great archaeological site has been rarely visited until very recently. Afternoon return back to Siem Reap with visit Beng Melea, the largely temple overrun by vegetation and very lightly visited by the tourists, giving it an adventurous, 'lost temple' feel. It was built in early 11th century by the King Suryavarman II. Overnight Siem Reap. {B}
Day 7: Silk Farm and Cambodian Cultural Village Morning excursion transfer to Silk Farm at Puok district – 15 km west of Siem Reap. On the way enchanted by rice paddies and water buffalos, stilted houses and little villages as a cultural experience. This is where visitors can witness start-to-finish silk creation - growing and harvesting mulberry (food for the silk worms), the breeding process and life cycle of the silk worm, collection of cocoons, separation and spinning the silk, the dying process and the creation of beautiful silk weavings on wooden, multi-harness hand looms can all be seen. Return back to Siem Reap for lunch. Afternoon visit Cambodian Cultural Village - A unique, sprawling new cultural attraction in Siem Reap, intended to introduce the visitor to Cambodian culture and history. Overnight Siem Reap. {B }
Day 8: Departure Morning free at leisure until transfer for departure flight. {B}
